What I can do now ???
- Make Yourself As Visible As Possible!
- Cyclists must also obey all the rules of the road!
- Report ALL motorist run-ins to law enforcement.
- Make every effort to be able to give an accurate vehicle description, if not the plate number.
- Obtain and display the above removable stickers (both English & Malay version).
English Version |
Malay Version |
- Share our Facebook Page with your cycling friends, non-cycling friends and family.
- Display the removable car decals on your vehicle.
Donations / Fund Raising Activities to support Long Term Campaigns:
As part of our campaign to
increase the safety awareness of Malaysian cyclists, we are planning to produce
and air a series of Public Service Announcements on Radio / TV / Billboards /
Moving Billboards / Digital Billboards etc. to educate the public on how to
safely pass a cyclist, make the public aware that cyclists have the same rights
as any motor vehicle on the road, and make people aware of the unacceptably
high number of cyclists that are injured or killed in our country every year.
Most stations will run Public
Service Announcements at no charge during "off" hours but we'd like
to be able to air during peak times as well, in order to reach the most people.
To achieve this goal, we are seeking for donations of any amount.
All efforts are on a
volunteer-basis, and no one associated with this organization will be paid for
their time or services provided.
We'd like to recognize the
following individuals, who have all made significant financial contributions to
the organization; we're just as grateful for every donation, even the smallest
ones, but felt that those contributing RM50 or more should be recognized.
More than RM 10,000:
RM 1,000 and up: Hammer Gel Nutrition / Reliance College / MCC Cycling Group / Centro Sports Sdn Bhd (Focus)
RM500 and up:
