Over the weekend 24th June 2012, another sad R.I.P. news that rock the cycling community. ;'''(
People, I urge all of you, pls pls pls think TRIPLE not twice to cycle on ANY Highways or even their MOTORbike Lanes. We have to take good care of ourselves to try our best to prevent tragedies happen to any of us.
Start taking precaution of yourself & stop cycling on all highways and motorbike lanes. We have our CHOICES to make to stay safe and still able to cycle. Hence, Ride Happy Ride Safe.
When things happen we start blaming one another. Why not we all take a step back to take precaution of ourselves & ANYTHING COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO ANYONE OF US AT ANYTIME ANY MOMENT in ANY SITUATIONS.
1) STOP CYCLING ON ALL MAJOR HIGHWAYS AND MOTORBIKE LANES, PRECAUTION IS BETTER THAN BLAMING AFTERMATH.
2) BE SEEN & BE SAFE, ALWAYS RIDE WITH YOUR HELMETS ON, ALWAYS RIDE WITH FRONT N BACK LIGHTS SPECIALLY AT NIGHT TIMES.
3) RIDE IN GROUPS, DO NOT RIDE ALONE AT ANY TIMES.
4) ALWAYS INFORM LOVED ONES, INFORM YOUR FRIENDS WHERE YOU ARE RIDING OFF TO.
5) RIDE IN SINGLE FILES & TRY TO STICK TO LEFT OR INNER MOST SIDE OF THE ROAD.
6) DO NOT EVER MAKE SUDDEN MOVE, MUST SLOWLY MAKE PROPER SIGNAL WHEN YOU ARE MAKING ANY MOVES.
7) ALWAYS TRY TO POINT AND SHOUT OUT ANY POT HOLES AND UNEVEN ROAD SURFACES. PROPER HAND GESTURES ARE NEEDED.
8) DO NOT RUN OVER RED LIGHTS, RESPECT YOURSELVES BEFORE OTHERS RESPECT YOU!
May God bless us all. Ride Happy, Ride Safe ... Share Our Roads by Elaine KarYan Sunny Bunny
